| oh, well, considering tomorrow at this time should be at a Love Live gathering at my favorite italian anime convention if everything is ok, it's finally time to officially rewatch in full for Myanimelist (i'll probably just skip one or two episodes that i know for sure were already commented) Returning back to march / april 2017, i always laugh in good taste remembering how everything started after watching by "accident" a Eli Ayase t-shirt at italian Cartoomics one year before and discovering (unaware she was exactly one of the characters portrayed on stage) Love Live's very existence from nothing at another convention the following month. There was a almost full μ's cosplay group performing songs as No Brand Girls and Psychic Fire, and they also won the competition. Fast forward, i bought that t-shirt found again at the same place, decided to give the series a chance because "hopefully, it will be like K-On just without music instruments". Sorry K-On, but Love Live is even better, and noticed it immediately back then too. Also, i needed a feel-good show like this one in such a dark moment during my second job (even if a happy ending soon followed). To be honest, i'm not that into the main song of this opening episode but the rest is still great, even greater in hindsight. Chairwoman of the school is Akane Tendo after her relationship with Ranma failed? LOL (same seiyuu joke, nothing more, i just don't get tired of those) Honoka has never been my favorite, and it's still so easy to root for her, even if her mission difficulty is already hard, and i enjoyed to rewatch how she found motivation by looking at old Otonokizaka pictures, often including her mother. Didn't remember Yukiho to be this petty, but also, Nao Touyama is wonderful (it's amusing for me, considering i was also watching Nisekoi in the same exact time) Yeah, episode 1 and student council vice president is already acting weird, smiling when the best girl (even if a villain at this point) is angry, stalking the upbeat girl that wants to start her own idol group after discovering A-Rise (how can i blame her, Private Wars is a nice song and Anju Yuuki the best member) even if there is a looooot of training to do. Enjoyed how every main character was introduced and even the girl with a minor / supporting role i always chose as pfps has immediately appeared. Great. |

| I've been wanting to pick up the love live franchise for awhile now and the first episode definitely made me hyped to see the rest of it too! I really enjoyed it and the girls are so cute. The main character is so fun to watch too, I really like her personality so far :3 |
