Monogatari Series: First Season
If anyone didn't notice in the last seconds of Episode 4, you should definetely check it out, I didn't search in the News Forums yet and see if they have any thread about the Mongatari Series Second Season, but whatever, more people can know now if they see this thread. So my questions are... Obviously its true, + I didn't read the novels yet. Wish I could but I just can't find any site to read them online, sadly... I guess what I want is a little hint (no spoiler) and idea of what its gonna be about. Because the last 3 seconds are very confusing on what to expect... "Vampire Punch!" ... "Koyomi onii-chan I hate you!" ... etc. I'm just curious. I'd also really appreciate it if someone know a great site or any to read the novels online. (not baka-tsuki, I don't want to read a novel on my cell phone...) |

You can read the text plain on their website or download the PDFs which you can either read on the computer, or as me, read it on an iPad. Here are the news on what is going to be animated: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=423269 The -monogatari series is split up into 15 novels, but Nisemonogatari and Bakemonogatari consists out of 2 volumes each. That makes it into 13 arcs. All this will be animated by Shaft. |
| kinda confusing but I'm sure I'll understand once I read the novels. Though what I don't get is how you can read the "text plain" on their website. All I saw was a green box and once well I clicked it it sent me to its wikipedia page. |

| They haven't really come that far in the process of translating this series, and currently, there are only PDFs available for Kizumonogatari and Nekomonogatari(black) if that is what you were referring to. If you scroll down at the page JavierR linked, you'll find these. The one that says PDF in the top right corner is the one you want to download. |
| .... trying... to follow... lol. Well I want to read all of the novels in order of when they published because that would be the true order of the whole series, right? Because Bakemonogatari was first season in Anime, and then Nisemonogatari. Now Nekomonogatari and soon Kizumonogatari. That should be the right order its going, right? Either way. I want to read the true right order your supposed to read the novels. From beginning to end. |
| the monogatari series starts with the kuzemonogatari then you have to jump to the nekomonogatari light novel if you want to follow the story in a chonological order -- since the he meets the kai killer or the girl vampire first, thats how he gets all the powers and meets oshino (hawaii shirt guy) but the first one released was the bakemonogatari light novel so it is up to you on which you want to start with but since the site baka tsuki hasnt finished all the light novel translations who might just want to be like me and read as much as you can well the translators there keep updating the novels for us. | SHAFT is incredible! They didn't finish the first season of Monogatari (talking about the long-awaited Kizu film), and they announce that in 2013 they're gonna animate the second season? Gotta love SHAFT and their utter procrastination... |
| Kizumonogatari is gonna be the new Hellsing: Ultimate. We'll keep being told they're working on it, but it'll be years before it's released |
