Seeing how they both get treated like crap, I can easily understand how they ended up as close friends. And how exactly does Nicolas communicate or even understand anyone at that point? Does he read lips? I highly doubt any of those dudes knew sign language and did he even know sign language yet?

Nice chapter showing how they met and all, however the pace in this one was a bit too slow imo:/ Well maybe the pace was fine but it's just a bit disappointing to wait more than a month for a chapter and then get so little after all that time :/ Gangsta should come out more frequently or the chapters should be longer, the way it is now, all this waiting is just killing me D: and I love this manga so much!!! D:

I think he can already read lips at this point, but still, his life must be hard this way... and I don't think that these guys know sign language but well Nick doesn't seem to give a f*** it's like he doesn't want to have anything to do with them I think
Now I can't wait for the next chapter! XD

A harsh but also nice start to seeing how they started out. I loved the panels of Nick giving back the book. Back when they were young enough to have unguarded expressions despite their situations.

Man I feel bad for both Nicolas and Worrick. I guess Worrick just realizes that Nic is just another outcast same as him and becomes friends.
