| Seems like Frieza just couldn't accept Goku's act of kindness, considering he took it as condescension. But it is without a doubt idiotic to think Goku would've given Frieza enough energy to kill Goku, it panned out in the obvious way but it falls in line with Frieza's character. Frieza really has no one else to blame for his downfall besides himself, he was fear of the Super Saiyan eventually lead to the creation of one, and his own defeat here was more on his hand than Goku. His own move sliced his body into pieces and his final desperate attempt to reassert his dominance and regain lost pride by killing Goku ended as expected. I do like that element to Frieza's character. |
| freeza's pride killed freeza lol. the face of goku afterwards, only goku can be sorry for kill his enemy lol. but he did gave him lot of chances, so even if frieza's attack wouldn't kill him, goku had no choice but to kill him so at least he will die with regret. or at the very least, since he gave him super sayan chi, it's capable of killing goku as much as goku could done it, sound logical too, that's also kinda answer your question @Terrestrious hope i can sleep lol, i have read now dragon ball for hours, it's 4:30am >< one chapter and that's it i guess, it's the end of the arc anyway. oh and the grand elder death, it was so star wars'shi xD |

| The Freezer fight sure is a long one, but it's good. Not as great as the fight against Vegeta in the previous arc, but still one of the best long ones in the series. Once again, the fight is divided into a lot of different parts, with the different transformations and different opponents. Goku really is on top of the things this time around. He really feels like the strongest character in the series in a way he hasn't really been since his fight against King Piccolo. |
