Did you ever read (or are currently reading) a manga that confused you a LOT or made no sense to you whatsoever?

Mahou Tsukai Kurohime, I really didn't get what was going on in that manga. Maybe it's because I was paying more attention to the fanservice instead of the plot.

Black Magic. The fact that the plot jumped more sporadically than a cricket on an electric floor and didn't make much sense to begin with didn't help either

Since I am really new to manga they all are confusing. It is hard to read with pictures and not words. But I guess the one that confuses me the most is Bleach since they have some strange things in them.

couldn't remember the title, but I found it again by searching "manga calligraphy horse head." I just thought that was interesting.

@mikana, me too. Until the series finished I was in the dark. And then I had to make a flow chart of who the heck was who all the while trying to incorporate the time travel. And the end....I was like wut. CLAMP really did drop the ball on it.

Another for me:
Naked Self
Do not understand the nakedness. Do not understand how the palindrome works with reading. Do not understand anything!

Yup.Even after the series finished it was still hard to get what went on. I tried looking at timelines of when the stuff happened and it just made me more confused.

I had some trouble with the Trigun manga. The layout of the panels was confusing, sometimes. And a lot of the time, I couldn't tell which character was talking.

Duh! How could I forget Trigun! I've never seen such a mess of panels before or since! I'm guessing that the story would have made sense when told clearly but...well the art makes it incomprehensible to say the least, no?

Clover.

There was just no point to it; I couldn't even tell you what it was about, it was so bad. I'm also really confused about what happened in the end of it. Hell, I didn't even know that was the end until a friend told me. I was relieved still very, very confused.

I was completely dissapointed with the ending and the entire manga made no sense at all. The concept was good but I just didn't get it.
It's Junji Itou. It's not supposed to make sense. c:

Seconding Valkyrie's opinion. It's supposed to be creepy and scary. Why should it make sense? (though I will admit that I wish they hadn't acted like typical characters in a horror movie. Stupidity is stupidity)

Uzumaki isn't scary like you said but I don't find it sick either. I laughed like 15 minutes for snail people and that tomb/car spring things. It's comedy. ;d

Uzumaki has point and important message also. Everyone is spiral, spirals are good.

Akumetsu is the best manga ever made, imo. Concentrate more. :3

Clover was meant to be a in the style of film noir vignettes. Many people haven't seen these kinds of movies before--which have a specific and exculsive story telling style--so it becomes difficult to grasp the concept of Clover. Especially since its a manga adaptation of that style. If it wasn't for my university film club, I would never have understood Clover for the diamond it's worth.

It's kinda like you'd never appreciate a work from Shakespeare till you take AP British Literature in high school. So much symbolism. So much complexity. (More so than just the standard Romeo and Juliet.)

I want to add another one.
PhD: Phantasy Degree
People changed gender, then it flips to these other unrelated characters for a couple books, than flips back to the original for another few books, and there's amnesia so it's a whole different person now. I just didn't get the point of the series.

Clover was never finished, there should have been 2 more volumes. And you're probably confused because the events aren't presented in chronological order.

Not only did it not make sense (or I'm just too stupid to understand "art") it was also completely sick and perverse.

I agree but since it's abstraction as an art form then it's automatically worth of gold, right ?

I think no one is able to compete with KAGO on terms of fuc* up - hardly fathomable plots, albeit you could try Jun Hayami.

There are many ways in which a manga can be 'weird'; people here are talking about Kago as if there aren't a million hentai manga out there with heaps more shock value than his works (and more meaning, on occasion).

One of the weirdest works I have encountered (which also happens to be a genuinely enjoyable manga), both in terms of art and story/execution, is Palepoli by Usamaru Furuya. In my opinion, it is vastly superior to anything Kago has ever done.

Oh that stuff. I agree with you, superior in terms of execution, art, perhaps even story ( some of them ) -- as KAGO himself said that most of his works, if not all, are experimental, and done half-assed -- albeit I personally don't think it can match KAGO on bizarre approach.

One of my favorites :
