A typically interesting episode: portraying being an idol as a lot of work and bother rather than some kind of fantasy is par for this series' sophistication. I think the third series has been lacking this kind of thing so far so I'm glad to see it here.

I like the characterization of Onpu here; she's actually interested in what she does for her own reasons. Listening to Japanese pop music for a bit can tell you that people making it generally don't care about good pronunciation of English, but Onpu wants to get it right so hard she wears herself out.

This episode was good for many reasons. That one bit with Onpu actually trying to get to pronunciation right caught my attention.

Part of why the series is so good, but yeah, the third season was a bit lighter than usual, so good to see episodes like this again.

It also shows just how creepy the idol industry is. I mean Jesus, gravure really shouldn't involve children. All these shots she had in the episode are also taken by real children, which is just a creepy thing.

I'm an idol fan and coincidentally Onpu is also my favorite, so I loved this episode! Not only because of Onpu but it's also super fun to learn more things about idols and I feel like Doremi portrays it pretty well. I love how passionate Onpu always is about her work, she really loves being an idol!!!! Though I agree with the previous comment that a 10 years old doing a gravure shoot its pretty weird... Why not just a normal photoshoot?????
