| I'm so happy the series is drawing to a close. Then again, maybe I'm not. ^^; I'm happy that SOMETHING is happening with this Mao chick. I would have been pissed if she just drifted off into space. I'm also happy that she admitted to what she did. It's common for people in mangas to never admit to that type of thing. It makes me happy to see one that breaks the trend. |
| I can't get enough of this series >///< Ren keeps getting cuter & cuter... & I'm hoping for the best about Andou & Mao. I'm not sure if I want them to be together or not... But it would be nice for them to at least make amends about what happened in the past. |

XD I kinda had the feeling that Mao actually likes Andou. Maybe she said those things, thinking that Ninako would choose Andou because of what happened in the past. Maybe it was her own way of helping Andou. |
| wow i wasn't expecting for a character like mao, who felt like the typical shoujo trope of jealous-scheming-bitch-ex-gf only there to complicate/lengthen things, to have this kind of turnaround development, but this chapter was really good in showcasing that. idk, obviously with the way she was written at first it's expected for everyone to resent her, but ever since the chapter where she talked to ninako about how it's her fault that ren and andou aren't best friends anymore, i can't hate her because i admire it a lot when characters own up to their past mistakes. i actually really like the change of events and even though the fact that she suddenly likes andou came pretty unexpected (after all the time that she's been written to seem like she only likes ren), i'm kinda rooting for her and andou to get together??? i know it'd be unexpected and ooc for takumi to suddenly like her after all these chapters of his desperate love for ninako, but like...... i just love his character so much and i want him to eventually find someone else to love since it's obvious ninako will never return those feelings, so this gives me a lil bit of hope that he'll find someone else :') that being said, why do i feel like the only one (not here but in the comments section of the site i'm reading the scanlations on) to have empathy for characters like mao? idk lately everyone seems so quick to judge anyone that gets in the way of their precious ships, like, even if those characters are interestingly/well developed (COUGH touma and narumi in ao haru ride). it's a little disheartening that ppl can't see past it. especially since it's fuckin shoujo, like, your main ship is obviously destined to be no matter what, lol. but whatever. and mAN oh man ren's gradual change of character the past volume or two, ever since he's realized that he's come to love nina, he's grown on me so much more aaaaah i can't help it. all the blushing/ jealousy might be so cute on him because of the fact that it's so new/uncustomary for him sdfbhdjb |

| Woah, that was a surprise. Hinted throughout the chapter, but when it came I wasn't expecting it at all! Somehow it's a development I quite like and am happy with! I don't know whether Mao deserves to get back together with Andou and whether Andou can like her back, but we'll see. But anyway, this means that Andou isn't destined for heartbreak since it's pretty obvious now that Ninako won't return his feelings. So excited to see what's gonna happen between Mao and Andou! |
