We have an alien (Yuki), an esper(Koizumi) and a time traveller (Mikuru). But where is the slider?
After reading the disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi, I started to think that Kyon is the slider from a parallel universe that Haruhi mentioned in her self introduction at the first day at school. Although Koizumi said that Kyon is just a normal guy, but it didn't mean that he will be a normal guy forever.
I also think that there is a strong clue in the Dissociation of Suzumiya Haruhi: there are two alternate stories. I would not be suprise that if in the tenth book: The Surprise of Suzumiya Haruhi the two alternate stories/parallel universe will be come together and there will be two Kyons working together to solve the crisis.

I just read The sigh of haruhi suzumiya and in the epilogue Kyon talks about sliders too. I seriously think this "slider" thing might become serious later on. Though maybe Kyon really is a slider himself?
