Yeah some new moves finally, I'm liking the series so far but what bothers me is how repeating Pegasus Meteor Fist over and over seems to make it hit the enemies xD

Man, that Silver Leader sure was weird! Nice to see that Saiya finally discovered what we knew all along.

AWESOME EPISODE! Couldn't believe that Marin was Seiya's sister. Seiya was able to unlock the true Pegasus power even if it was for the split second! Super good!

I don't get why it recapped at the first minutes (for a while I thought I was watching OP), but I was glad I've watched the whole underplot.
Suddenly, Seiya became all-powerful/overpowered and start "destroying"/beating everyone. Also, I didn't remember those brutal scenes.
Great improve from last episode (I could have gave up on this series just because the previous over-exaggerated and nonsensical chapter).

We're getting new moves yay! I thought the way Seiya took out Misty was fantastic. The new moves were both really cool and not very asspully, and the deflecting of the Marble Tripper has been forshadowed countless times, and even outright stated with Arles saying that Seiya has the cosmos of a golden knight at one point. The way the animation juxtaposed the piano with Saori and the ocean turning red was intense, and Misty's death scene was really cool, I thought he'd won at first. But, as Seiya said "scars are a sign of courage", and will power will carry one far.

Marin's illusions seem to be really good in reality, so I can't say it was impossible for her to fake an attack on Seiya anymore, in fact it actually makes sense. She seems like she literally creates an illusion of what she wants others to see, so that one would've worked.

I really didn't think Marin would be Seiya's sister, I had thought she was too young to be Marin from the earliest flash backs we saw, and we should assume she would have started fighting and training even after Seiya, so overall it's very confusing. Hope it's elaborated on more.

Lastly, the power of friendship and love gave Seiya wings. Seriously?! Now, this is a mid fight asspull. The other attacks and even the deflection are excusable and make sense, but this is just.... I get cosmos are what people get their power from, and upon learning you can finally see your sister again if you protect her you would get a resurgence of it, but it can and was used in such a weak way. When there's no rules to how power levels work, except "when the situation is bad the hero will get really strong", it's seriously offensive. This was one of the first really bad examples, with the golden armor saving the day, and friendship killing Ikki being some others.

By the way "I AM HOUND AND MY POWER IS READING YOUR MIND SEIYA!", who does that?

Is Seiya the shounen protagonist which gets beaten the most brutally?

these last few eps have definitely *felt* like filler, although I admittedly wouldn't know what is or isn't.

But Marin being his sister I wasn't expecting, also didn't they take him away to eventually send him off to be trained by Marin lol. Sounds a bit like an asspull that doesn't entirely fit haha

Wow I didn't expect Marin to be his sister. She was so mysterious, so that is pretty cool actually! New moves also! And this new arc is pretty intense so far with the Silver Saints, especially this mind-reading guy!

I called it that Marin was his sister the moment they said she was Japanese (and when they showed the flashback and she has the same hair). The Graude foundation has some questions to answer about how she ended up like that.

I would say that it's contrived that Seiya never noticed how similar Marin and his sister are despite spending all that time together, but I like the idea that he thought he lost his sister but he actually never did, meaning they didn't lose out on any time together like he assumed (hopefully she doesnt lose her memories of her time as Marin when she takes the mask off). I wonder if Shaina is also someone who lost their memories, it would make Seiya killing her sister extra dark for sure.

As much as I loved Seiya delivering that beatdown, the silver saints are such a joke so far. What even qualifies you to be a silver saint instead of a bronze? You don't seem to graduate from one into the other. The bronze saints also just seem way stronger as of now.

The logic that Misty has somehow never taken a hit just annoyed me, it doesn't make sense considering how brutal the process of getting the bronze cloths was, I'm guessing the idea is gonna be that either silver cloths are given to people who have the highest raw power regardless of experience, or that the terms bronze and silver aren't meant to be taken to literally mean that they're inherently stronger and they're just closer to the higher-ups.

Also funny to me that they chose a biblical name for the Whale Saint but went with Moses when Jonah (the guy in the bible who got swallowed by a whale) was right there as a far more fitting name.

It does feel like we're now starting to get a bit more of the show that the kickass opening promised, though this arc so far has had too much of a pattern "Ares sends people after the bronze saints, they get beaten, he sends some slightly stronger people, they get beaten"
