| not a bad introduction, some extremely dark humor immediately ("trying to become taller"... yeah...), giving weird names to everything including Mount Fuji becoming Mount Shounen Jump Magazine, optimism vs black pil, talking about creating hot springs directly into the school and thinking about the consequences... even if i'm concerned that a lot of jokes are at risk to be lost in lack of subtitles adaptation, it can do pretty good. |

| This anime makes me very badly wish I knew Japanese and was a Japanese to fully enjoy the nuances of all the references and word play found in abundance.. :') ..the level of creativity and direction feels just as wonderful in my 2nd watch. |
| Yep, that is most definitely a Shaft show, their style was very distinct even back then. Not sure about this one so far, has the potential to be good. |
