| well except for the fact that i've got this nagging itch in my brain... that this anime is SERIOUSLY downplaying? downgrading? softening? removing? i dunno what word i'm thinking of... but they're doing SOMETHING to the BL in the source... it is a decent... if peculiar... show so far. as long as they do keep that BL to a minimum, i'll be fine with it. i really don't enjoy that type of show and always avoid em entirely... but if it is just mild vaguely flirty stuff i think i can cope. well Judge is a... strange one. he apparently has enough 'family clout' to THREATEN successfully the local cops in his hometown... but the dude is a human puppy... even to the point that he has a giant head of shaggy messy hair. the local lord though? sketchy dude to be polite about it. i'm guessing the reason he doesn't show his face in public is that he is now posing as his own child/grandchild and he is some form of immortal. maybe a vampire or something similar, red eyes are a big giveaway. plus getting THAT much clout and power and prestige as a singular merchant that fast... so much so that the guy gets his own CITY out of the deal with the previous regional lord and an adoption into that family? there's gotta be some hoodoo voodoo woo woo stuffs behind THAT lil slice of history. plus he's paying for their meal and doesn't touch a single bite of the food nor a drink of any beverages? another red flag, as alot of writers include that vamps etc. don't eat food or drink anything... cept for blood. |
