Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest
Who’s your favorite FT couple?
| Poll: I was going to choose Natsu and Lucy, because I think both characters are wonderful... but I had to pick Levy and Gajeel, because Gajeel has changed a lot, in ways that actually mean something - meaning, for a reason - and Levy started viewing Gajeel as better than he acted since pretty much the moment he joined Fairy Tail. As far as 100-year Quest - I heard some crap talk on some forums online, but like... I thought it was perfect to form Fairy Tail. I want to see more, and I hope they plan to release more. I assume they do, because I loved this a lot. Animation quality was better than the entirety of the anime put together, in this season, and the story wasn't bad either. The character interactions were just as enjoyable as ever, if not more, and the enemies are interesting at the very least. The Dragon Eaters being the least so, but I'm sure something cool could be done with them as well. The Dragon Gods? The nations? It reminds me of one piece, with better art style and slightly lesser animation. Fair trade-off I guess. There's much more and more profound character development in Fairy Tail than there is in One Piece - so I can easily deal. If I had to pick a FAVORITE season, it would be Tenroujima. Fighting Grimoire Heart and being "wiped out" by Acnologia and then the time skip... this wasn't quite that impactful... and it may have been a little less than the Grand Magic Games / Dragon invasion arcs, but it was definitely up there in the running. Far better animation at least. Most other aspects were quite good too. Enjoyed the crap out of it. |

Suprise Levy & Gajeel not #1 considering they’re the only couple that’s actually together. 😂
| @Lizardo-san yeah but, that's not how this works. They were my number 1 - but I was close to picking Lucy and Natsu too, because ... I know them the best, I suppose. I also think they're both super lovable characters - but Levy and Gajeel - Levy is a sweetheart and Gajeel has changed a LOT. Only character I think has changed more is Wendy, and that's basically because she was scared of everything that moved at the start, and learned to do a ton of stuff since she was introduced... and gained confidence because of it - that's PERFECT character development. You don't see it much in ANY anime. Gajeel though, he was always kind of a badass, but his personality changed in very believable/sensible ways, for reasons that made sense too. I loved it. Levy I kinda always liked anyway, because she's a bit different than most of the other characters in that she's not powerful but is super competent, and also pretty adorable as well. To be honest, I can't dislike most of the characters in this anime. I did dislike a few for a bit - but then I was like "...maybe they're not so bad" before long. Usually before a single season ended... guessing that was their plan. |
