remember making a 1 cour anime with preproduction time from scratch takes 2 years minimum but for anime adaptations that preproduction already is mostly done like character designs and story because they are just gonna follow the source material like manga then 1 year minimum at least for 1 cour anime
if it takes 3 or more years then you can be sure the anime studio contracted is still busy with other anime projects

@CrazyFrogz ok good to know also when is the mappa yearly event? maybe they will announce it early there?
@deg Not Mappa event but Shonen Jump event this 21 December. Chainsaw Man in red stage. Normally red stage will announce big news |

| @Confused_100 Since Chainsaw Man movie Reze really success i can see Mappa do Assassin arc + Gun devil in an 12 episode anime and then waiting 2 years for a control devil movie. I mean movie will bring more money to them. |
