If Suika didn't do that stupidity which cost her friends wellbeing by selfishly helping an enemy who appeared with the intent to kill, do you think Senku team could still win the battle?

It may be stupid But think: she is still a kid and his decision will be come with something important. Be patient.

Call me crazy, but me personally, I’m not gonna question why a little girl didn’t just watch someone die, and instead helped prevent the death when she had the chance to. Especially when it comes to the group she’s a part of, they’ve actively prevented casualties through the whole series, and have taken former enemies into their group. I think they’d be pretty understanding and forgiving of the situation.

Who knows.

Even with all the delay Stanley squad underwent from catching Suika and dealing with fighting team, Kaseki and Chrome could not create Medusa battery in time.

If not for the delay, the Stanley squad would probably have stormed the palace even earlier.

correct me if l'm wrong but isn't Suika just a kid, a kid is supposed to be selfless and helping people in need.

if a kid doesn't help people and is selfish and on top of that watch someone literally die infront of them and do nothing,
ima actually start doubting if they had a good childhood, so my point is Suika did a morally good action but it still costed the team "downfall". tho it is what a kid with a good childhood and with good parents should do.

suika may be a "good kid" but goddamn she lacks common sense. risked her entire teams life to save one person. then again this is dr stone: the anime thats only realistic when it comes to science and has everything else make 0 sense

Suika's just an adorable little melon let her be cute and "stupidly" kind.
I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life.

Well they would still kinda lose considering they just didn't have enough precision to make the perfect peice

She's a kid with good morals. She couldn't watch someone die in front of her and didn't want to be a bystander.

Senku team was always about stalling for time. Kaseki failed to cut the diamomd. They had no chance regardless. Suika didn't make that much of a difference when it comes to stalling. Senku would still get a call from Corn City and everyone would be petrified in the end. In other words, outcome stays the same. Stanley would still kill a bunch of people before the call though. Battle to the death was unavoidable.

It's funny how you call Suika's action stupid. Showing pity to the enemy is exactly why mankind hasn't destroyed itself through countless wars. You really have no idea how team Senku operates? Many of them can't ignore a peraon in pain or about to die.

Funny enough, if not for Suika saving that woman, eventually when petri-beam reaches them, she'd be long dead and likely can't be saved anymore, unlike everyone else who dies.

To summerize:

Without Suika's "stupid action", a lot of people would still die, but they can be saved due to petrification, EXCEPT for the woman who got bit too early to be saved, since she'd be long dead at this point. Suika made the difference and it's a good one.

personaly, i think the whole idea of saving your enemy and being compationate to those who wish to kill you, is stupid... i watch the series for the science and the general plot... their logic is a huge minuse for my taste

they would still lose because of senku's "no kill" rule, the enemies had guns and were using them so just running around and trying to knock them out will not do much, they put themselves in an impossible situation due to their own philosophy although it was still the correct way to save everyone from both sides in the end

Best excuse i can think of for this is that action atleast bought them time. Suikas gang getting caught might have stalled stanley's team by an hour since we all know they are rapidly approaching senku's team. Honestly i find that stupid too but i think senku will do the same if he was in suikas shoes but maybe in a smarter way

No, Suika's mistake is what allowed Francois to send the message to Joel (without the threat of revealing their location) who then was able to get a working Medusa. Without Suika's intervention Stanley would've gone straight to Senku & Co. uninterrupted, who would've been shoot without a working medusa either in Araxa or Corn city. Game over.
Yes...I ate 5 slices of pizza...those mozzarella sticks were good too...Yes, I'm lactose intolerant, what about it??

its just hindsight bias at work here even in real life we do not know if our actions are really stupid until the future shows up
