| I really, really liked Nice and E-Soul's arcs. Animation style aside, compared to the arcs afterward, they felt like a totally different show in terms of direction and pathos. While I also liked episode 1 of Lucky Cyan as an interesting premise, it feels like after that, this show has lacked any of the same tight direction and emotional punch of Nice and E-Soul's episodes. I'm still watching because I'm interested in seeing where it all goes, and the final lead-up to X, but I'm pretty deflated that it's now 3 consecutive super "meh" arcs. Nice and E-Soul made be believe this show had tons of really cool potential that I'm not seeing now. The alien revelation isn't doing it any favors either. I understand it's a callback to the previous series in this franchise but I feel like it could have been incorporated in a less matter-of-fact way, so it feels less shark-jumpy. |
| To be honest I think Loli was a secondary character in her own arc. We got interested in anything else but her. ---- Ghostblade is older than the other heroes. He was born in year 0. He must be 41 or so. |

@Teruki_Inoue I have no idea who Zero or whats Dawn incident you talking about. Thought this anime was not related to any other sources, seems it is... And dont want to learn "no spoier" if they going to explain what the hell are those.

| ... I think the writers of this show really have a bit of trouble with introducing female characters. Loli got a lot of improvement in this episode. It was the same with Queen, her first impression made me dislike her but after she positively interacted with the Johnnys and Cyan and how she stepped up for Cyan even though she was depressed after the unfair loss against X, I thought the girl was perfectly fine. Same with Loli. She seemed privileged and bratty in her first episode but showed a heroic fight in a battlesuit she never even used before, putting herself in possible danger to save not only her friend but the scientists and her fathers company. She also wasn't afraid to confront her dad about the weird substance he's experimenting on, even though we didn't see how this confrontation concluded. I hope she got answers. Overall, way better than the previous episode. 4/5 |
| Loli's armor looks neat. She did great and wait no ranking and stuff for her cause that was the end of her arc I think. But we now into alien stuff now. That material has the property to negate trust and fear so thats why DJ guy power didn't work on her or the fear. It's like a nullify ability. Also Ghostblade's the stalker? Why? |

I really hope, that the next arcs will be better, because the Loli arc was utter trash. Cyan's arc was serviceable, but not good, and Queen's arc was far too short, she deserved more screen time. However it is obvious, that the Nice and E-Soul arcs were far superior, than anything happened since, and it will be a problem, if the later arcs are closer in quality to the Loli arc, than to Nice/E-Soul.

| There is plenty of plot development here such as project zero and the fear that it's about, and the newly found discovery of the alien material (thanks to Loli who used it in her suit) which repels both fear and trust. There's also the mysterious figure who used DJ shindig. And of course we get the introduction of Ghostblade whom is just one of those characters where just standing there makes you intrigued to know more about them. They didn't tell us why bro is stalking a girl though, and idk if they'll even tell us in his arc which is coming up next I think. As for Loli herself... don't care about her character motivations or her story. Glad we can move on now. This is gonna sound sexist but these 3 female hero arcs that we've gotten were nowhere near on the level of Nice's and E-soul's. Cyan's was fine, Queen's was pretty good and I wanted more but it just felt like it ended too soon. And Loli's... yeah idk man. |
