| Bleagh. This became very edgy and ridiculous. I'm fine with the idea of two people showing up together when one killed the other. That's ripe for character work, drama and themes. I also like the idea of an evil character sowing doubt and discord amongst guests. But chasing a friend down the hallway with a katana and the girl stabbing herself in tears in the name of friendship was just... hysterics and pure camp. I thought the show was better than this. Neko's reaction to the body hitting the floor of the lobby was mostly my reaction too. Her face was all very "huh." and "what are we doing here?" I can overlook some holes and leaps of logic that many comments here pointed out. But I'm annoyed by how the uniform girl was the one who got swallowed up. That was a suicide, I expected the dead girl to be dragged to hell. |
