Eng Dub or Chinese Dub?

I'm finally giving it a watch, but I can't decide if I should try the original dub or the Eng one.

I know that it's a matter of choice, but what did u guys prefer? I'm not sure if I'll like the grating voice that Mandarin is, but maybe I'll get used to it.

Or should I just F it all and watch the Japanese dub??

I generally watch shows in their original language but I've heard the English dub is good!

nah , eng dub is watchable. chinese dub feels casual and no idea about japenese ..

I watch dub (if a good dub in my preferred language is available) or original with sub.
So, in this case, chinese with sub. (I watch german dub if available)
At the beginning, it was strange, yes. Just as it was like first watching japanese with sub.
But in the meanwhile, I like it. Not as much as japanese, but it's o.k.

well I highly recommend the English dub trust me it's really good. Alejandro Saab did a great job as Cheng Xiaoshi.

original is better
but I don't recommend Jap dub that well cuz imo their voice..doesn't really suit their face..yk cuz like chinese ppl tend to have a very soft and calm voice anyway eng dub is also really good

I think this is a third thread on this series about which language op should watch it. And ppl be like "English dub is so good". No, my brother. English dub never stood near good when it comes to anime

I’ve watched it in both the Chinese sub and English dub, and personally I love both. The sub is really good, but I know some people who aren’t as used to donghua don’t like it as much. The English dub is also amazing- Alejandro Saab, Zeno Robinson, and Suzie Yeung all did sooo well as the MCs and so I would highly recommend it if you don’t watch it in the original Chinese.

I’m currently watching the newest season in sub as it releases but IF they come out with an English dub of it I’m 100% gonna watch that too (not sure if they will because it’s an OVA).

Chinese dub for sure! It's always so weird to watch an Asian show with English (typically Americans) speaking in a very American accent. It throws me off the show, way too weird sounding. They rarely ever match the Asian nuance with the body language, it's usually through the Western lens in English Dub.

This is the same for ANY foreign language films and TV, animated or live action.
