I think this is going to be a fun watch. I don't think this is going to be a very serious anime nor do I believe that its insanely special but that doesn't make it bad. Just going to be a fun laid back watch. I like the way the art looks, and the music is fine. I don't particularly like that all the magic circles look the same with a different color but that's the only thing I really have to dislike.

dunno if this is by accident but there are a lot of things that remind me of "im a spider so what". Especialy since im reading the light novels currently (so much better than the anime btw).

he is hurting himself to raise his resistances
his timeline is different from the timeline of the other isekaied people.
and the first monster he tames is a spider?

coincidence? xD maybe, maybe not :).

dunno, of this anime will go the same route as im a spider so what, that we really see two different timelines at the same time, or if the other summons are even important in this one, but i at least want to see more :).

My first question was why the goddess couldn't send him back, only to have the show immediately answer the question. I like it when shows actually think things through. Well done show.

That said, they immediately confuse me by giving him all kinds of elemental (and even space-time?) magic, which doesn't make sense since he specifically didn't take the mage class. Additionally, he almost immediately gains the warrior class (and even complains about it), making me wonder why they bothered with the class selection at all when you can apparently just learn them all immediately anyway. Contrary to "picking an unassuming skill" he seems to have been given access to literally every skill.

Also, the magic seems inconsistent. In the beginning he can make weapons with 1 second of magic, including somehow making metal spearheads out of wood, but later he has to use actual blacksmithing tools to make things.

Anyways, that aside, it seems not terrible. Will keep watching.

This isn't Full Metal Alchemist! Where are Edward and Alphonse?

I'm kidding. This is not that bad. I think there's potential here, so I'll keep watching to see where it goes.

In a sense, Takumi Iruma got the short end of the stick since he wasn’t supposed to be summoned, and there’s no way for him to go back to Earth. I’m not surprised as with most isekai, going back to the real world (or a real world in the case of The Rising of the Shield Hero) is either impossible or will be found later within said series. At least Lady Nolyn made it up by sending Takumi to the continent of Asgard one year before the Holy Sidonia Empire summoned the heroes.

Despite not wanting to have an adventuring job, Takumi was able to defend himself when that Horned Rabbit showed up, and as a result he learned of Bord Village, along with the little girl he saved named Molly, her father Banga whose a hunter, her mother Martha, and Bobon the blacksmith.

Takumi makes himself at home and gets used to his magic. The way magic works in this series is interesting, and I like how Takumi was instantly able to turn a piece of wood into a spear (though where did the metal come from), and he’s able to use his newfound Alchemist title with his alchemy skills to decompose the insides of a Huge Armored Boar and save a spider who he calls Maple, taming an insect type monster which apparently is known to be impossible to do. Banga mentions how Takumi is meant for more than this village, and I agree. He may be just an alchemist, but he’s got a lot of potential (a lot of this having to do with Nolyn of course), so I wonder what awaits.

In case I haven’t made myself clear, I’m definitely continuing this series and learning more about the magic system and the other things Takumi can do.

Just another isekai, but liking it so far. I enjoy isekai, I think they're fun, but now I'm curious about the time difference at the end of the episode. Alchemy powers are always cool, I hope the power scaling doesn't lose sight of fantasy-alchemy at its core.

Umm.. I don't know the starting is underwhelming.
"All things, be they divine or mortal, find their ultimate end.
It is not a harsh punishment, but a merciful pardon."

It's turbo cliché isekai. If you're into that then it's good I suppose. Just from one episode it's pretty easy to figure out the entire plot since they're all pretty much the same.

The first episode delivers a serviceable start but struggles to leave a lasting impression. While the concept has potential, the execution feels formulaic, with a lack of standout moments to truly set it apart from other anime in the genre.

The animation and music are decent, but nothing extraordinary, and the characters introduced so far come off as one-dimensional. It’s a watchable episode, but not one that sparks much excitement for what’s to come.
