We all know that when an anime is divided into two seasons, each season is considered a work and is evaluated independently, but what about the cours? When we face an anime divided into cores, can we consider it as a one work, forming one work for or is it considered like a season, such that each??

I think you mean cour ("kuru", from the french word "cours"). I might give different scores to part 1 and part 2 of an anime, but they're clearly meant to be one season, one indivisible thing, and I disagree with MAL making separate entries for split cour just because "it would be left on the watching list for too long". As if you couldn't put it on hold.

@Nirinbo
Exactly what I'm trying to say, if the parts ultimately form one work or one season, why does MAL treat it as a collection of works instead of one work?

@Salehguitara because MAL decided that "break between part 1 and part 2 longer than 3 months = separate entries" for the reason I said in my previous reply, with some ad-hoc exceptions for anime older than MAL, production delays and One Piece.

Sure, and while we're at it: let's treat seasons like franchise titles.

I kinda treat them like that anyway, it's easier to say 3rd season of something than season 2 part 2 XD

@LittleStar yeah, as I said there are many random exceptions. Not the worst case of inconsistency in this database, that would be the LoGH remake.

When an anime is split into two seasons, each season struts its stuff as an independent work, ready for the spotlight. But with cours, it's a bit of a different dance. Think of cours as the chic chapters of a novel. Sure, each one has its moment, but together they weave a tapestry. Some judge each cour like a standalone season, but the real connoisseurs like the Mal veterans, it’s all part of one season.
