just saying that mf ghost have time trials each race and also each race has 3 laps so far while on initial d you only got 1 lap races and no time trials so thats why mf ghost takes more episodes for each race

do you hate how long the races are?

Absolutely. There's so much more time throughout the races where nothing much really happens. Initial D was exciting because with the shorter racetracks it was always intense with crazy stunts being pulled usually a few times an episode, and MF Ghost is just cruising down the road for most of the race while the commentators say, "Oh, man, he's driving!" and every once in a while something crazy happens. Plus, with the races being so long, there's not nearly as much time for the characters' personal lives, since that's mostly just between races.

well with the setting of mf ghost i kinda understand why the longer races.sometimes it ls annoying but at the same time it build suspense for me to see what will happen next
