| As a rom-com enthusiast, I noticed something weird that I don't really understand, why does Keita and Chiaki call each other by their first names and no one else does it to them? Sure they got along very well at the start but they started hating each other very quickly. Even after Tendou and Amano started dating they never called each other by first name, and not even Amano and Uehara did it and they're pretty much best buddies I'd say. Thought I still think it's hella weird to be embarressed to be called by their first name cause I mean... it's your NAME. Kinda wonder if that's a thing IRL too in Japan. Well, these are just 3 am thoughts after re-watching it and it's so damn fun. Feel like I laughed as much as I did watching it the first time. Have you ever considered that maybe you didn’t understand the misunderstandings, but others did? This is a question I ask myself sometimes, when I am not able to follow the an anime. Anyways, it’s been a good while, my past self rated this an 8, but I can’t remember much about it, probably need a rewatch. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

I won't have to delve deeper with Israel and Palestine - it's a 60-year-old story muddied by many things in the background. My point is that the reality is - IT IS HARDER FOR PEOPLE TO TALK IT OUT THEMSELVES. So many relationships are ruined because of misunderstandings. Many divorces have been cited to have ended because they never talk. How many crimes have been committed because of a dumbo being misunderstood?. You, yourself might have a misunderstanding with someone and took you a while to talk it out?. Its always easy to say "If only yall have talked it out" but the reality is "emotion" dictates most outcomes. |

I also kind of dislike how it ended, not very eventful at all. If there’s anything more from the source material, I hope we get to see it cause not much happened by the end of season 1. | @gloozed What I enjoyed from it is everyone's reactions to all the misunderstandings and their face expressions, I don't see this as your typical rom-com since there are five people never properly talking to each other, making it more chaotic every as time goes on. Uehara thinking Amono likes Aguri while supporting Chiaki who he thinks likes Amano but it's himself she likes. Aguri thinking Uehara is cheating on her with Chiaki (and Tendou maybe, can't rememebr). Amono thinking Uehara is cheating on Aguri and thinking he likes Tendou. Tendou just panicking What I find the funniest is how these 4 people are having secret meetings with the ones they think the other is cheating on or thinks he/she likes And Chiaki having absolutely no clue what's going on for a while since she's never really been told who's in a relationship with who. I'm honestly not sure if she ever knew Uehara was in a relationship with Aguri. Since I don't remember her commenting "oh he has a girlfriend" or something like that And I just love the chemistry between everyone, Uehara becoming buddies with Amano because he sees his old self in him but Amano is not ashamed to like games like he was. Tendou falling for Amano because of what Amano said about having fun is the most important part about gaming, not just winning. Auguri and Amano developing a sibling bond. |
