| 86 (No naivity,great protags,realistic dystopia & class disparison,great action) Bakemonogatari (Pretty good love story,amazing surrealistic effects,overall sucks you in from ep1) Blue Gender (If you are interested in a realistic apocalypse setting with mature characters,mecha action is ok) Claymore (Teresa.) Gankutsou (Mature broken-love story with flawed realistic characters & one of the best MC's of all time,also the cyberpunk elements really add to it.) Gungrave (Not the best in terms of action sequences and a slow burner story but it hits all the right feels) Kaiji (Psychological thriller done right,you won't feel the episodes go by it's engrossing trough and trough,also some of the best VA & Soundtrack) Gundam 00 (Very good mecha anime,there are some ahhh moments but overall the politics,intrigue & great artstyle & direction are absolutely worth it,also banger OP & ED's) Prison School (If you like femdom it's the only anime that heavily features it,so it gets 2 thumbs up from me,otherwise idk what reason there would be to watch it.) Psycho-Pass (Great Cyberpunk story,with both baddass MC & Antagonist,great thrill,just don't go past S1) Lain (If you like the dead internet theory,Jung & Freud then you will love the story & visuals,also best ED) Spice and Wolf (A cheeky romance that is intelligent,i also recommend the original series.) Texhnolyze (Best & most realistic cyberpunk setting with realistically reacting characters & overall the best nihillistic anime out there.) Side note but I would recommend watching Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust rather than the original. |
