Not going to lie, those guys with the Rabbit masks gives off creepy vibes. Got some storytelling about Ichiyou this episode again with a friend. It seems he does have more connections in their world with others than I had thought.

And oh, Sontou can be more badass when he tries.

I've a pretty low standard when it comes to anime full of hot guys, but this anime is testing my threshold.

6 eps in and I'm still clueless about what's going on, why these folks are fighting these other folks, what the universe and world is about, and how the characters fit into that world. It's very incoherently presented to the audience in a way that makes none of it clear.

@Spirelord what I understand is that the 4 pillars were "bad" gods and they were punished and bound to keep the world they're in, in balance. Unfortunately, they escaped, and Ichiyo's adoptive father took on the responsibility to keep the world in balance (then we discover that one of the pillars is still there too). As we see with the earthquake, it takes a lot of efforts to do so, and he could die from it (the strain on the long run must be difficult) - therefore Ichiyo wants to find the pillars who escaped to bind them back and free his adoptive father.
Regarding the creepy bunny character and why they're attacking everyone, it is because they want to see Ichiyo's adoptive father. The reason they want to see him is explained in the beginning of the episode: he has hidden the thing presented in the beginning of the episode (it's called "egg of the moon" in french), and the person who obtains it can become the ruler/master of the world.

Regarding the other things such as Ichiyo not having to eat a peach to visit the human world, we'll have to wait a little more for revelations I guess, maybe next episode.

I hope I could make it clearer for you? Also, I apologise for not using the characters' names except for Ichiyo's, but the subtitles in French have modified the Japanese names so I can't name anyone correctly, lol

@sailorshirayuki I understand in every episode so far they've been explaining something about the world. But premise doesn't show much of what was explained in the episode. And the episodes doesn't feel coherent to eachother. Especially the last one. My theory is either

Finding this Moon Egg, which is under the protection of Hakugo, seems to be the occurring event going forward, even towards the Dragon King seeking Shiro for that vital information, even if he's joking.

Sanu and Ichiyo's reunion may be one conversing point, but more than Tenko's sudden beast transformation scaring Ichiyo and the rest, the real threat is with the beasts invading that the Eight Immortals are ignorant with their interrogation on Ran Saiwa, and Horyusei only being able to report the emergency at hand to defend against the Chaos beasts alongside Gaishi.

Sonto confronting the perpetrator and her beasts, to only get overwhelmed while Ran's interrogation continues, as is Hiki going all out on the Chaos beast with Gaishi bringing Ichiyo for help, nothing's being resolved if one of the Four Evils is turning against his own kin.

Is the perpetrator really one of the Four Evils, Konton? It seems most likely...
