I still keep thinking about this anime from time to time

I watched Parasyte when it had recently finished airing (around 2016). It was a surreal experience - plot, the music, the opening song, the underlying theme of humanity and morality. It was unlike anything else I had watched at the time. But to this day, I haven't been able to replicate the same feelings and emotions that I had when I was watching Parasyte. The manga is even better after you have watched the anime imo, it has a more fleshed out story. What a masterpiece.

I agree with you, I saw Parasyte almost a year ago, and I can say that it really surprised me. I had seen a scene from the anime on a short and that was the impact when I started Parasyte. What anime!!!

I really liked this anime n still remember
the lines meegi told him "u think human lives r important only because u belong to the same species" kinda like that ... I watched this >3 yrs ago
but still story was g8

good to know it is still being thought of today. i can distinctly remember alot of the scenes and also the soundtracks. the soundtracks oh goodness it is the best i have heard in anime.

The rewatch value on this was pretty good. This is my favourite of all time and anime’s around that year were amazing.

I've watched more than 250+ anime and Parasyte was 3rd anime I watched. I still can't forget how much I liked it. The ost still plays in my head.

It is memorable, i agree. There are so many similar concepts like infected and shi- but the character development here is real. You can see Sinichi became a sigma male gradually and does not feel forced.
