[Oshi No Ko]

| I'm not one for shipping, as I usually just go with whomever the author decides. I'm not the writer, so whether I think someone should be with someone else is more of personal preference, and I'd trust that the author at least has an idea of their story's direction. There are exceptions of course where certain pairings seem to come out of nowhere or are actively harmful to both characters, but I'd usually just accept them as they are and move on. With Oshi no Ko, Kana seems really nice with Aqua since her fiery attitude plays well off of his cool attitude. She's also debatably the most normal of the main characters, and would be great to bring Aqua down from his heightened sense of pained existence. For Aqua's personal health and sanctity of mind, I'd think Kana is the best for him. However, in terms of furthering the plot and potentially saving his life, Akane is terrifyingly important to keep at Aqua's side. The whole dynamic of their meeting shifted with Akane's stark realization of the overarching plot. The conversation initially revolved around Aqua breaking up with Akane, where he wouldn't have to chain Akane down to his revenge plot. Now, it's Akane's turn to choose whether cling onto Aqua over her sudden discovery regarding Aqua's situation. It's not even a matter of Akane wanting to be Aqua's girlfriend or partner in crime, it's become a matter of possibly protecting Aqua since, apparently, danger still exists in his life, and he doesn't realize it. This just flipped Aqua's and Akane's whole dynamic. Other than that, it seems like Aqua's and Ruby's past lives are finally coming into play. I'm curious to see if the reincarnation thing actually holds tangible relevance to the current plot aside from just kickstarting everything into motion. |
| FINALLY A DATE OF KANA AND AQUA. It was so gooddd, really enjoyable. Aqua had everything planned, you son of a bitch. “Kids these days don’t say that?” do they not? lmao. Akane doesn’t want to break up with Aqua, she even wanna do ecchi stuff, look at her. Aqua opens up his heart a bit and Akane goes into detective mode. I KNEW HIS FATHER WAS ALIVEEEE. |
