| We find out the large creature becomes full after absorbing a specific threshold of energy from the Hope's engines and is in a state of inactivity after fulfilling the threshold. The researchers try to experiment with samples collected from the flesh and end up causing the tentacles from expanding within the science lab. Not long after the peace, the large creature is awoken again and begins absorbing majority of the Hope's energy reserves so everyone is forced to evacuate into the science lab where they come up with the solution to fighting the large creature thanks to the supercomputer headset. End of the episode it looks like they end up reaching completion in deciphering the weaknesses of the large creature but based on the reaction and visuals in the reflection of the scientists eyes there might be a problem. Episode is uneventful, 2/5. Nothing progressive or revealed this episode apart from the acidic solution being a way to prevent the creature from growing. |
