As far as I've read in discussions here, the manga has great scenery art, but I don't see it in the anime so far

Anime only here, but I think it looks gorgeous, I just love this old European stuff in general, it's just so nice to look at and this perfectly captures it imo

Not in the slightest. We’re just one episode in but I can see it getting the Tokyo Ghoul treatment (would love for the next couple episodes to prove me wrong tho)

No the manga art is on another level. But I appreciate the studio’s efforts and glad that we are getting something. Hopefully the anime adaptation will at least bring exposure to the manga

It looks incredibly bland and boring. The pacing is snoozefest. Manga is great because of the magnificent art and your own reading speed, here you stuck for 20 minutes and there's nothing, but boredom in sight. I mean I am not anime director, but I would rather re-read manga than watch it (might as well drop it)
