| Kaibyakumon has flooded the gates in Ikebukuro, and it's up to the leaders to stop his rampage while Secret Aliens deal with the riffraff. Never did they thought to see Beginning Gate in a hologram, though they'd finally see its leader in the flesh. But the one who has inept information on him was Jakurai, though he'd escape thereafter. Still, the clash of the titans for a finale, it's a feast for the eyes as Kaibyakumon proves difficult to defeat. Instead, the focus to save Beginning Gate's leader, rest on the rest of the members to aid them, which they did, and have Kaibyakumon treated by Jakurai. A pretty weak Season 2, seems like producers are in need of money more than pumping out quality content. Preferred Season 1 without a shadow of doubt. |

| ...and then they managed to make it outright corny in the end. 🤣 But even that works because it props the characters up and gives them another chance to shine, which is the ultimate goal here. Kinda meh about Secret Aliens though, they drag them outta the closet for a cameo in the previous episode, and now set them up for a performance, which then- doesn't happen. What's with the bait-and-switch shenanigans this season... |
| wow a rap battle that didn't end in 2 seconds? nice lol the other guy's voice was super deep, made for an interesting singing lol in the end they all tired as hell from all the running but they had to start another "fight" between the groups, funny |

| Ah yes, you can always count on the power of friendship to stop a riot as the Division All Stars team up to take down Kaibyakumon's demon in Ikebukuro. The Party of Words finally showed some restraint by transferring Kaibyakumon to the hospital instead of arresting him as a favor from saved from by the Division All Stars. Personally I liked this season over the previous one now that we have BAT and DH on the screen. I know the TBH/Beginning Gate story line was an anime original, but I liked how they were factored into the lore of Hypnosis Mic by being apart of Ichiro and Samatoki's backstory compared to the Secret Aliens who just appear out of nowhere. Plus it was nice to have a decent change in antagonists besides the Party of Words. After all the anime is just supplementary material to go along with the drama tracks of the main story that takes place after the 2nd DRB. Now we wait for the beginning of the 3rd DRB, who will win this time? Will it be the defending champs Fling Pose? 8/10 RELIVE |

| Worse than the first season, the development of the old characters is zero, as well as the connection to the first season. There are no complaints about newcomers, but they just exist and that’s all. The main storyline would not have been bad if it had not, in principle, been ended in the first episode, and then not been stretched out further for the sake of a predictable ending. |
| That final rap battle went hard wtf, Kaibyakumon's parts were unironically so badass and I loved the visuals too. Pretty good finale, it got SUPER cheesy at the end but that's Rhyme Anima for you I guess lol. Wish we got to see more of Secret Aliens though, their comeback was so epic and then it just kinda ended there, they should've at least gotten a short new song or something... Overall I'm just happy we got a new season of hypani, I love this franchise more than anything and there's a special charm to the anime. It had its so-so moments in writing but a lot of episodes were genuinely great and fun, some straight up had me feeling emo. The songs slapped for the most part and I can't wait to hear them in full on the album and hopefully at 10th live too! I'll miss Rhyme Anima fridays a lot man :( Looking forward to whatever new content they're doing after this though! |

| At the end of the day it was a story of love and mobs, the different mob battles were all interesting and the overarching story was pretty simple and easy to follow for doing a snippet of a story for a multimedia franchise. I liked the story of love at the end and the mix of rap and drama worked well. Will hope we get an s3. Loved the characters. |

| Things I liked: the music, seeing BAT and DotsuHon animated and Doppo stupid running gag about selfies. Things I disliked: everything else. Why the hell do showrunners like to do this thing with some adaptations that instead of adapting from the already existing source material, they invent some nonsense plot, and focus on anime original characters? We already had 6 new canon characters to focus on. Why not focusing on how the groups got together? or also there are some interesting backstories they could have touched: Jyushi, the BusBros, Rei, Ramuda, Jakurai and Hitoya, Dice... But noooo, let's focus on some random people that no one cares instead of characters fans are already invested in. I don't get it, I truly don't. Oh, and on top of that we didn't even get the second rap battle???? What the actual fuck??? Asqueroso. Incomible. (voz de la Moni) |
