| "Thing is popular so I must hate popular thing." Thats usually how it goes with people hating on popular series. As others have pointed out, it's also probably just a loud vocal minority. I don't put any stock into MAL scores but this season wouldn't have the score it does if a majority of those watching it found it bad. Plus, the people who think it's bad will be more likely to voice that opinion in the forums, as they'll feel more of a need to let their negative opinion be known vs someone with a positive opinion. And, as @APolygons2 mentioned, MAL has a lot of elitists who take anime WAY too seriously, so they feel the need to get pretentious and act like anything that isn't highly complex, nuanced, thought-provoking, and deeply philosophical is mindless trash. Even though there's nothing wrong every once in a while with enjoying the JJKs or the Demon Slayers or the CSMs out there that offer some cool flashy action. Anime is entertainment after all. If I was entertained, then the job was done, regardless of whether it was a captivating mystery thriller or a cool fight sequence. |

I'll reiterate, hope this makes more sense: People who shit on people's favorites without a reason when others are just appreciating what they like are annoying because they can simply- 1. Enter a comment section and give their opinion, instead of making new threads without a point just to annoy the masses 2. Actively try to find a place where the thing is being controversially discussed instead of joining and ruining the mood of people who are just trying to have fun. 3. You attacking people for not accepting others' opinions while you yourself don't accept how others have an opinion of that certain doomposting group being shit is still hypocrisy, no matter how you bend it. And no, i couldn't care less about these people, but it makes sense why others are against you, it can be fucking annoying if you are just having fun and someone starts shouting ITS BADDDD, basically indirectly asking them to "STOP HAVING FUNNN", they are ruining the mood of others and deserve the blacklash for that. |
