About the 3D animation

God the 3D animation of this anime is one gorgeous and expressive I ever watched in anime, I watch polygon pictures studio anime like knight of sidonia and other also beastars but no one can match this the bouncy of animation the expression of character chamera angle in fight scene and smoothness of 3D animation Studio Orange really give their best to this anime.

Some people don't appreciate this animation because 3D but for me this anime have the best 3D animation I watch so far.

Meh, still think Beasters and Land of the Lustrous outclass this show in CGI.

What really hindered it is that it was a remake of a cult classic, so it had no chance of really winning over that camp despite it looking overall better than the original. Most people don't go around dissing Pixar for choosing to go the 3D route as their movies are absolutely, visually gorgeous, but anime fans are a special breed of stubborn. It is one thing when 3D elements aren't blended properly with 2D animation, but some "fans" will still reject a whole show done in 3D even if it is done as well as this one because it's the cool thing to do.

I enjoyed this one but hopefully someday we get a proper 1:1 anime adaptation of Trigun because that is gonna be amazing.

In some cases the 3D animation of this work is better than its 3D predecessors, in others its worse. Its not a perfect work, but there are far worse out there. Japanese animation sphere is particularly bad with 3D CGI animation for some reason, so its quite rare to find a studio like Orange that know what they are doing on a competent level.
