How did Atom and Uran end up as siblings?

So I know they aren’t actual siblings but unless I’m somehow missing something here I don’t understand how they would’ve come to live together considering they were made by different people and Dr. Tenma went awhol after he made Atom (I think??). Is this something explained in og Astro Boy??

Dr. Ochanomizu Built Uran after adopting Atom in the original, so they're like step siblings really.

@kakashis_sidehoe It does, Tenma sells Atom to the Circus after becoming unstable due to the fact that Atom couldn't grow and was just an imitation of his dead son.

She's made by Ochanomizu. Tenma compliments him on his creation when discussing her in this. They're not "biologically related" but live together as family, the robots began mimic having families to understand humans.

in Astro Boy they have parents made for them (and a brother who is not used in later adaptations).

All these was mentioned in pluto manga?

@Bhavya7 when Atom meets Gesicht he talks about being sent to the circus. And Tenma keeps comparing him to his son Tobio in another scene. Both in the anime too.
