| Ladies and gents, we have now arrived at the Galar region. And we'll probably be here until a certain amount of episodes (I'm a guess 5 episodes). I did not expect this episode to be semi-dramatic. This talks about Murdock's past with a former baker friendly rival Mitchel, who back then, apparently ended the good terms due to Milcery evolving into Ruby Swirl Alcremie rather than Matcha Alcremie. One persuading from Liko and one battle later, and back to good terms with the competitive rivalry. Ngl, the plot twist of the battle was definitely the highlight of the episode. On one hand we were watching a 2v2, and then, BAM. It was Episode 80 of XY for a good 30 - 40 seconds all over again. (Disincluding the time limit and the fact that it's cake instead of Poke Puffs) Now for next week, we get to see Kabu's first debut in the anime! And another 2v2 added into it as well. (Gym Challenge included) I wonder if Kabu will G-Max Centiskorch. |
| Pastries pokemon and battle, that was a surprising theme, but it's true that we have pokemon for everything now, I like how their rivalry ended up with both of them crying together ahah |

| Tres Bienne. Nice to see Mitchell as the focus of an episode for once. A decent little story for now, with the promise of a gym leader encounter very soon. |
