| I have doubts if it was wise to put such a great plot into a 12 episode mold. Maybe they had financial problemes but still... Decent romance needs about 30 episodes or more to bloom. Think- Saiunkoku Monogatari, Hana Yori Dango, Fushigi Yuugi, Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin - Samurai Champloo lasted for 26 episodes and the romance was only subtly born. If they would try to cram the romance into a 12 episodes mold it will ruin the story. I am a little afraid to watch the anime -if it is going to end so soon it is almost a waste of emotions to get to like the characters... |

| I agree. I really wish they could have made this anime into 24-26 episodes. I really loved the game and was happy when it became an anime, but 12 episodes are definitely not enough to fully develop the story and the characters in Hakuouki. |

I just hope they have a Sequel if it ends with a cliffhanger...XP |
| I agree as well. I would have liked this anime to be around the 26 episode range. Even though I'm enjoying it, I get the feeling the ending isn't going to be all that great, since everything needs to be finished off in so few episodes. |
