Okay this one ticked me off...Mori HAD THIS ONE SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They need to let Mori solve cases once and awhile, especially ones where he knows the culprit or victim!

Long time not seeing Asami Ishikawa, the quality of the scripts she wrote is quite good, especially "The Ice Trap Nobody Can Solve", typically a Shin Honkaku case.
However, this episode can only be said to be satisfactory, and the deduction is very general. The toilet coin mechanism used in this episode is quite creative, but it is a pity that it was not well used in the resolution of this case, and the tricks are not so ingenious.
The murder weapon part is also very old-fashioned.

Kind of disappointed that Kogoro didn't solve this case. He was right on the money for once. I don't understand why someone who knows Kogoro would try to attempt murder and think they can get away with it but oh well. On another note, Yamaura could've probably saved the alley when his life was endangered.

One of the rare cases when Conan actually has to use the restroom. Even if it was just to demonstrate how it works there...

The least engaging filler in a while, neither fun, nor intellectually stimulating. Kogoro getting the spotlight would've been nice, but Conan always has to be the one, dem's da rules.

Feels bad for the alley residents, but it was pretty obvious who did it when the culprit tried to use an alibi that didn't confirm where they were at, unlike a receipt.
