That flashback with Grandpa was cute.
The world is confirmed to be a dream, and it seems like we will hopefully get some answers next chapter from Sota

Tsubasa is damn stressed about it, poor guy

This was a nice flashback to finish fleshing out the family before something big happens.

Grandpa's a tsundere
“There are only two types of people in the world--those who became otaku and those who didn't--and the latter just can't understand what the former is so excited about."--Ono Norihiro

"Crying and getting emotional wastes time"
I like short wise sayings alike to to this one...
Beautiful thing about this series, it has its own sense of comedy... whenever Tsubasa is too bold and tries to act seriously, he ends up doing this in a funny light way

Ok I can't be the only one who thinks that grandpa "tsundere" behavior is issue here? "tsundere" is fun and stuff in anime (manga) but in real life can be scaring, by how emotionally detached grandpa is (especially in flashback).
Like look at his behavior, while talking about "loop mystery" he is full of energy and emotions, etc. but when Tsubasa was talking about how he is scared of the fact being in coma and afraid to wake up grandpa became automatically cold, awkward and only think he could think of is giving him food.

And I think author is doing this intentionally, because in the end grandpa isn't a bad person but has hard time expressing his emotions (like every member of family), which could have domino effect on Tsubasa parents and his sister (aka generational trauma).

And people are surprised why japan (and overall men) have high suicide rate. lol

There is nothing wrong in showing own emotions, even ancient greece understand this that's why catharsis was important role in their art.

Feels like the story is falling apart to an extent. The characters don’t feel as coherent as they did in the first 10 chapters or so

Exactly! Also everytime I read it, it feels like a chore and I’m not excited for it, like I am with other series

Suppressing oneself's emotions is the utmost crime of this world, if I'm to talk about myself, I often don't hold my tears when I'm in pain... and that's healthy imo.

@Nieznajomy43 I think if we're talking Seven Deadly Sins, this will make grandpa the "Pride".
