As far as we know, Deku will possibly be the last wielder of One For All. However, I failed to understand the gist of this topic, including the topic about quirk factors/consciousness and about All Might forming another consciousness through One For All ? Can anyone break it down ?

We know thanks to both One For All and All For One that quirk factors contain a part of someone’s consciousness. When OFA’s past users passed on the quirk, they passed on a part of themselves along with it. That’s what the vestiges are. All Might’s vestige is different because he doesn’t have a quirk factor, so instead his consciousness was imbued into OFA directly rather than through his own quirk. As for why Deku will probably be the last wielder, it’s because with all the quirks that have been added to OFA, it’s now too much for someone who already has a quirk to handle. If someone with a quirk inherits OFA, it will massively shorten their lifespan. So if Deku has a successor, it would have to be a quirkless person, but quirkless people are super rare these days. It’s true that 20% of the population is still quirkless, but those are mostly old people. The prevalence of quirks increases greatly with each generation, to the point where they’re nearly extinct in Deku’s generation, and finding one who’s worthy of inheriting OFA 30 or 40 years in the future will be basically impossible.

Same here, figured I needed to create a separate thread for it.

So in next generations being quirkless is rare. But there has to be some bloodline which is pure of quirks. and they maintain this "pure bloodline"

Also this hasn't been explored, but what if a OFA user has kids. According to the glass theory, OFA quirks should pass on to the kid just like any other parent's would. So chances are Deku won't be the last one and it can maybe become a bloodline thing rather than a passing on thing.
