| The beast of blind fury no longer plagued Thorfinn's being but his body will never forget the sensation of combat. No mere training could've done what Thorfinn did here against Snake. Dodging, counterattacking and evading a sudden surprise attack all happened instantly, purely through instincts and habit. Thorfinn's salvation is a long one, but it all starts with Thorfinn's understanding that his unconscious-self does not want to die, follower by the first person to accept him in his current state, his first friend in this new life, Einar. |

| Einer's voice actor is soooo good! I love that he called out Thorfinn for acting spoiled. You can't live as long as you did in a war torn era without someone watching out for you little guy. How dare you forget about Askeladd! Best episode so far. Einar's a character that makes common sense seem godlike. What a good character. He never feels fake like some of those mouthpieces author's put into their stories to preach to the audience. All of his interactions with everyone on set feel so genuine and unfiltered. |

| It speaks volumes about Einar's character for him to fight against his resentment for Thorfinn like that, and Thorfinn's "thank you" had one hell of an impact too. Speaking of impact, man the brief glimpse Of Askeladd was enough to give me goosebumps. |
