| I think I'm pretty generous, and my baseline is a 5. If something just barely piques my interest then I'll give it a 6, 7 is for the relatively enjoyable stuff, 8 is for stuff I really enjoyed, and my 9s are 10s that are just barely missing something. I'm not scared to give out 4s, and those in 3 or below were either just really bad or they annoyed the hell out of me |

| Depends if I really dislike a show I can give it pretty low score. But if a shoes part of an ongoing series I like I might bump it up a point or two for that reason alone. |

| Harsh I guess, my excuse for that is that I've been watching anime for a while. So unless the anime is custom made for me, or has substance & impact, I'll be stingy with my scores. By custom made I mean, it focuses on tasteful fan-service (of either sexual or violent variety). By substance & impact I mean, I can like the characters and at least appreciate the plot. Since I prefer character based stories, to plot based ones. |

| I'm gonna say I'm a generous scorer. I use mal for the sole purpose of having an archive or (digital list) of animanga that I've read or watched, so I don't really focus on the way I score them. At times, I can also get harsh. It all just usually boils down to my interest and take on it. |

| I would like to think I'm fair. in way that even though you may not agree with me, you never look at one of my scores and go "that is unreasonably stupidly high/low" like I have controversial takes, but even those aren't to a degree of not being even slightly understandable. |
