Did this anime completely adapt the manga?

I know there are only 6 volumes of the manga but they are double sized volumes so its really more like 12. So I'm wondering if this anime was able to faithfully adapt the whole story or if they left a lot out, or if they only adapted some of it and we should expect a season 2 etc...?

It did there won't be a season 2. There was some debate as to whether the Anime ending would differ from the Manga, but this never happened.

13 volumes actually and yeah it properly adapted the whole manga so there will be no season 2. the ending was the same just slightly different order of events but it was a minor thing, nothing that changes the ending as a whole.

Yes, it covered the whole manga. The 25th episode is same as the last chapter. Maybe there is a chance for an ova or spin off, but the manga is adapted.

Yup it completely adapted it there won't be any s2. But maybe some OVAs might come out later.

Yupp! Cause if there would be anymore chapters, that could be the upcoming like of Ushio and Shinpei. Or Reincarnation of shadows due to pqrticular series of events. That would be repeat from 5th episode as Shinpei(upcoming gens) will know the power and know how to use it.!!!

lol pretty random but as someone who enjoyed the anime a lot would u guys recommend the manga for some extra content, insights, etc.?

(ik the uncensored boobies should alrdy answer the question but still)
