Not much happened in the last 2 episodes.
I am beginning to think they could have stopped at 12 or 13 episodes to wrap things up, unless something major happens at the end.

12:15 Kind of Bullshit. Russia for example is Primarily Atheist/Communist and goes to war all the time. It has very little to do with religion/gods those are just used as excuses. Even without a God or gods, people will just make their own Idols and gods and abuse those instead.
And if you want to talk about the western secular world, it's even a worse example as not only was that build on christian values and morals. Obviously when you're the richest and most powerful countries in the world you have a lot less reason to go to war in the first place. And even still I'd call countries like America *all but peaceful.* Even if you take a few better example like Scandinavian countries it's purely out of "prosperity society". There's no reason to go to war. The moment when there is, people will just make up or use one.
