| I don't think that Yukimura handled the things the best way here.. Really far from that, it feels.. It's anime, so this could work out, really, as anything in anime can work out in the way, in which author will write.. But I don't liked like a half of what he said, lol.. He said some good things too.. Like what is norm can indeed be something useful.. But come on, man, what are you doing.. |
| Kanade was trying to live a "normal" life but ironically that ended up making her feel worse. Clearly she needs to change, and that line will be a wake up call. Sometimes you need a Yukimura in your life to tell it how it really is. |
| That was probably the most serious episode of Rikekoi so far, but it was a good one. This is one of those anime that make me think about my own life, would it be better if I was "more normal"? |
| This episode tonally oscillated a lot. The comedic framing of Kanade's crippling of her teacher over an accident was immediately offset by it then being presented as having serious implications, and this isn't the first "mixed signals" scene either. Makes you wonder: How are you supposed to be truly immersed in the atmosphere of the scene that doesn't set a particular mood? |

| Turning Himuro lesbian was not on my bingo card for this show. Well its probably her just being stupid and like i enjoy being with you therefore i am in romantic love with you. Honestly stupid asf. Then we got them approving of creepy Otakus which is not on. You should not be affirming love for 2d characters. There should not be romantic love towards fictional characters that is not healthy SMH |
