Spoilers.
Fang Han sees Fang Qingxue fighting with the Evil Gourd's Black Smoke and decides to help out against Hongyi's wishes.
When the fighting is ongoing Hongyi puts herself in the way and gets killed.
This is all Fan's fault, why put someone you care about in harms way, just to help your supposed target in the future.
I do still hold out hope there is a way to save her, i like her character and would be a shame to lose her so early on.
We will have to wait for next season to find out.
I like this season but not the end, for me they have spoiled the characters by killing a favorite.

Is this the end of season 1?
Will this continue directly to episode 13 (season 2)?
This cliff hanger is too much - I want to find out what happens next.
I like the fact that Fang Han works hard to achieve what he has
Hongyi and the crane fairy add some humor and keep the story entertaining
I like this and Magic Chef of Ice and Fire - both leads are somewhat humble

Nooo Hong Yi... I liked her character...
Not sure what happens next in the story but it'd be great if she can be saved somehow.
Wonder if this will ever get a 2nd season.

Anyway, what an epic final episode! 👏😎👍
Looking forward to Season 2 ... and many, many more Seasons after that! 😘

Glad 3D animation now is pretty close to real actor's realism & emotions while live-action shows/movies is also pretty close to pure animation's battle epic-ness.

She died?! Dammit man. I know she kept saying cultivation world was titles but jfc

And I don't want her to be some sword puppet in his scroll. That's not cool. She needs to be resurrected somehow

and not sure why mc didn't just straight up ask dragon guy for advice from the start. or ask dragon guy if he could absorb more of those fume things. or why the dragon couldn't just take the gourd from the evil gourd guy
