| That was my reaction too when i finished it last year. I was like holy shit "The vengeance". Yeah it has ecchi Maybe hentai level but idc because the"vengeance" is still better than Mk virus and its echhi/hentai. |

| When I was first starting watching this anime, I admit I was kind of shocked and also confused as to what kind of anime I was watching, so I ended up putting it on hold. But when I started watching this anime again, I was actually able to concentrate more on the world building, character story, and I also realized something. *** SPOILERS *** People really need to not approach watching this anime with their own personal opinion of morality in mind, but to follow according to this anime’s world perspective of morality, or lack their of. Meaning, don’t treat this anime like it failed your own ideas of morality and then hate it for that reason. Instead, look from the main character’s own point of view, life experiences, and his own perspective of how this world operates, how humanity treats each other in this kingdom, that sex is treated as a completely acceptable normal pursuit by almost everyone because of how magic works in his world, how both the good and evil people in his life treated him, and how he wants to not only get revenge for what he went through in his previous life, but that he is actually is working to completely change how his entire kingdom operates. Once this is understood, then you can watch this anime freely and follow the story without being shocked by everything that is happening. You can see why the main character first starts doing everything over exactly the same as before to gain the same powers he had, then changes course to gain even more power this time around and to enact his plan for the future. You can see why he changes people’s characters from being evil to good, and how he is using his own power, along with his new companion’s status, to tear down this kingdom being ruled by evil corrupt leaders, in order to help the people that are suffering under their evil rule. You can see why sex is not only a pleasurable pursuit for them, but that it also affects their magical power. You can also see why he gets revenge in the way he does and why he kills certain people while letting others live. I hope this helps people watch this anime in a different light and that they can approach this anime as if they were living the main characters shoes. And hope there is someday a second season and an English dub. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |
