yea this is not like eva. and... watch order?

I asked "is Gurren Lagann like eva?" a week ago. I finished this show today and yea this is not like eva but this is SO FUCKING PERFECT! I can't decide which is better but both are extremely good shows for me. I loved characters, their build, plot, animations etc. And now, Should I watch movies or other spinoffs? If I should, watch order?

Movies are summaries. Watch them afterward if you want. I do recommend the second movie, at least, as it adds new material, but the first is skippable. The extras are just music videos and fun shorts. You can watch them after the series in any order.

To be honest, I prefer TTGL over Evangelion. It’s way better, in my opinion. The first movie is a recap; the second one has an movie-exclusive fight/battle, I think.

Who said this is like Eva. Besides the Mechs they are completely different.

the first movie is a recap movie but got 15-20 minutes of new footage of battle scenes in the end

the second movie is mostly an alternative retelling of the second half of the TV show and its ending is more awesome

as for other spin-offs just watch Parallel Works if you want more content
