Watch order?

I'm planning on starting this soon and idk what the deal is with all the movies and spinoffs and side stories and everything. If someone could tell me what to watch and the order, that'd be great

Imo, just watch the anime, you’ll be very satisfied.

But overs can tell u the watch order since I don’t know it, but I’m pretty sure non of the other stuff is canon

watch the TV show then the 2 movies, the other shows are just extra contents like spin-offs that does not matter in the grand scheme of things

Or both
I recommend the show but there are some fun things in the movie that are not on the show

The movies are just recaps of the first and latter halves of the show. The only thing that changes are the fight scenes in the end get WAY better animations. The original animations were fantstic. But that last fight scene in laggan-hen just blew me away. What a masterpiece.

He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.

The anime is stand alone. The parallel works just explain and add additional info to the series. The movies are recaps but have some bonus and remade scenes. The 2 special episodes are just unrelated short stories set in the first arc. The Yoko music video is gorgeous.

Just watch the anime and if you want more bother with the rest.

The movies are just recaps, you don't have to watch them. But if you want, they have some differences from the anime and change the final battle. They are pretty good movies, but just watch them after finishing the anime.
