| I really enjoyed season 1 but that ending tho absolutely atrocious, from an 8 my score plumeted to 1 So if there's any manga reader here, was that crap canon or anime original? And is there gonna be more of that copout BS coz I'm not sure if I'm gonna wanna watch this after what they pulled in season 1 |

| This series isn't based off of a manga. It's an original anime. Episode 13 is also called Extra Race, so I consider it like an OVA-style bonus episode after the 12th episode wrapped up the season's main storylines. I think it is technically "canon" and takes places after ep 12 and also after the BNW OVA series. Something important to remember is that it was just one race where they all tied. It was definitely ridiculous and over the top, but it was supposed to just be a feel good moment and also it tied in with the Trainer wanting to see all of them succeed. The tie for that race doesn't mean all the horse girls are now tied for first place in rankings or anything. Season 2 also looks like the focus will shift away from Special Week, focusing on Teio and Mejiro as well as introducing even more new characters. If you enjoyed most of S1, I think S2 should end up as worth watching or giving a try. |

| @Noisrev There are several manga and they are in a different universe. When the authors hired P.A. Works, they asked them to completely rewrite the plot, so the post-anime universe has a completely different setting. |

| Glad i am not the only one who dislike that ending, i know they seem embrace a motto "rival=best friends" thing, but didn't expect they pulled that conclusion in the last episode, i know it's more like an ova than last episode but still it's a shitty move since it was advertised as 13th episode. |
