ahhhh it's fukin over, goddamn it the long ride is over. What a nice way to end it as well, a birthday trip to Guam no less. lol @ Serina replying "yes" when that dude asked if they were on a honeymoon in English xd

And in true fashion, the highlight of the chapter has to be the monologues from both Mizukawa and Serina, truly amazing how they each convey their feelings.


I do kinda wish more was seen of the side characters after HS though, only got a slight glimpse of Inoue but that's pretty much it. Tbh though, I did not know what to really expect from this volume. I thought volume 9 would all but solidify the main drama in the series, but this volume managed to introduce a new situation. And similar to the previous one, this one only served to strengthen their bond even more, though tbf maybe their bond is too strong now, with them being madly in love with each other.







Overalll, not much else to say really. This series has been fantastic from start to finish. While yes there are series' with great couples who can actually flirt, communicate and develop all in the same series (like Futari Ashitademo, Ase to Sekken), most of them involve older adults. It's honestly very fukin rare to see a high school romance above all, have such a mature relationship that not only were the couple actually very open to flirting, but they really handled their struggles well without causing pointless misunderstandings. Actually, I can't even recall a single misunderstanding that dragged on in this series?


Either way though, by far joint favourite if not favourite manga of all time. If I really had to fault it, the pacing was a bit fast at times, and I do wish some of the more side characters had their stories as well, but in fairness, this story was always going to focus solely on Mizukawa and Serina and their journey together, and holy fuck did it do a good job at it





would give it a 100000000/10 if I could, but alas will have to settle with a 10/10




and it's funny how the very last page is an exact representation of the overall relationship :P
