| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The idea of money is power echoed the same sentiment that I recall Morita made back when he was kicked out from the partnership to come into his own. If I recall correctly he described money as ammunition that he cannot waste on frivolous things, that was his power after all. All of it counted! Either way, this was another big explanatory chapter regarding the system which Youichi Kono abuses and the means of the 30 billion that Gin has promised to double by betting on a horse race in enemy territory. I feel like beyond the young men Gin takes in exhibiting the character traits which compliment his goals, he also just likes having naive people around who he can call an idiot and laugh at while teaching about the world. He could have way less fun with it! |
