| I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |
| It's trust. The answer you're looking for is trust. Like the trust formed, tested, and strengthened by Kanoko and Iwai's relationship. Been following this story for four years and I'm happy to arrive at the ending! Thank you scanlators who saw it to the end. I'm happy to see there nothing forced nor melodramatic happened even when separation happened and that Kanoko and Iwai can laugh and cry over the same things. I only wish we could have seen another story from Iwai's past. Kaoru and Miyabi too. I still think that if Usotoki Rhetoric had been adapted into an anime, Hiroshi Kamiya and Hana Kanazawa would've been perfect for Iwai and Kanoko respectively. And perhaps Daisuke Sakaguchi for Kaoru Hanasaki and Megumi Toyoguchi for Miyabi. |

| That was a cute ending. I had kind of thought that Chiyo and Kaoru might get together after they butted heads at the train station and she thought he was a criminal. I think their traits would have contrasted nicely; she could help him loosen up and he could stop her from conquering the world with craziness. |

| I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the tiniest bit disappointed that there wasn't a little more development on the romance side of things but nevertheless, it is still a very wholesome and cute ride. I enjoyed this one thoroughly. |
| This manga was a good time. I enjoyed the characters and each mystery and it was just very easy and even comforting to read. I know it's a hard ask for an anime/manga series to be so fantastic that it immediately becomes one of my favorites, but even when I lower my expectations and just want a series that's solid - nothing more, nothing less - that's also difficult (surprisingly more so), which is why "Usotoki Rhetoric" was very refreshing. It didn't blow me away, but I liked it all the way through and that's not something most series can do. |
