Chara designs, good or bad ?

The CGI in this movie changes somehow some characters. I saw that some people (in reviews for example) didn't like it, but personally I loved it. Lupin didn't honestly change, but that moment with the hat from the original Lupin (his grandfather) is just so cool. Fujiko, Zenigata and Goemon don't change that much either. But Jigen, damn, look at his handsome face, I was amazed and thought it actually looked good. I don't think this (little) change of chara designs was bad, CGI is by definition more detailed than normal animation, so it seems logic that the designs had to be adapted to cgi, I think normal jigen in CGi wouldn't have been that good, i dunno maybe his face is too simple ? Well, I just wanted to talk about it cause it upsets me a bit that people don't see the good sometimes. And anyways the chara designs also changed from parts to parts, for example Lupin for part 3 looked different and way more flashy.

I love it. I think Fujiko has the best character design in this movie. I think it is the best Fujiko design

The CGI was very impressive. There was clearly a great deal of work put in to make the designs as true to the classic manga/2D animation as possible, and it paid off well IMO.

The sideburns looked over-long IMO, but it didn't bother me too much.

Jigen's classic moustache-less beard being replaced with stubble was a fair trade to me. A beard without a mustache is a difficult style to pull off.

Fujiko, I think her design was above average. I think she looks hotter in 2D, but the CGI did make her look as good as possible IMO.
